FLAGSHIP SUMMER EVENT
Combined Summer Worship & Picnic
- Couchiching Beach Park, Orillia
- Sunday, June 21 · 10:00 AM
The highlight of our community year. All six congregations come together for one outdoor worship service, followed by a shared picnic lunch on the shores of Lake Couchiching. Bring a lawn chair, a dish to share, and a friend. Music, prayer, and genuine community in one of Orillia’s most beautiful outdoor spaces. No registration needed — simply show up.

Community Food Drive
Saturday, June 27 · 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM · St. James, 58 Peter St. N, Orillia Drop off non-perishable food items to support local Orillia families in need. Volunteers welcome to help sort and pack donations throughout the morning.

Choral Evensong
Sunday, July 5 · 7:00 PM · St. David Anglican-Lutheran, 133 James St. E, Orillia An evening of sacred choral music and quiet reflection in the Anglican-Lutheran tradition. All are welcome — no prior knowledge of liturgy needed.

Strawberry Social
Sunday, July 12 · 2:00 PM · St. George, 66 Fairvalley Rd, Oro-Medonte A beloved summer tradition at St. George. Join the Fairvalley community for strawberries, shortcake, and good conversation on the church grounds. A favourite event for all ages.

Youth & Families Afternoon
Sunday, July 19 · 1:00 PM · Parish of Washago–Price's Corners, Washago Games, crafts, and a barbecue for children, youth, and families from across all six congregations. A great chance for families who attend different Huronia churches to meet one another.

Hymn Sing & Fellowship
Sunday, 4:00 PM · St. John, 232 Darby Rd, Waverley Sing your favourite hymns in a relaxed, informal setting followed by tea and conversation. Requests welcome. A warm and simple evening of shared music and friendship

Harvest Thanksgiving Gathering

St. George

Holy Eucharist. 66 Fairvalley Road, Oro-Medonte. A rural country service with a close-knit, multigenerational congregation.
